I work with individuals experiencing the
life stages of pre-adolescence through
and including adulthood. I collaborate
with individuals who may be experiencing
anxiety, depression, AD/HD, and defenses from trauma.
However, I also assist individuals who
are grieving, trying to increase their
self-awareness, self-confidence and
having difficulties in their
relationships. |

I graduated from Saint Louis University with my Master’s
Degree in Counseling followed by becoming a Licensed
Professional Counselor. Licensing requirements vary by
state, but as an LPC in Missouri, I completed a Master's
Degree in Counseling (MA), two years supervised clinical
work, passed a licensing exam, and take 40 hours of
approved continuing education every two years. This
allows me to help individuals in a professional manner
to achieve
joy and tranquility.
My foundation of counseling comes from the Cognitive
Behavioral approach, in that the
therapist and client work together as a team to identify
and solve problems. I help my clients overcome their
difficulties by shifting their thinking, behavior, and
emotional responses. Most importantly, my focus
is on what the client wishes from me. I take my lead
from you. |
